It was an honor to present this summer at the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) World Congress in Nashville with Director of Army Office of Small Business Programs Ms. Kim Buehler to discuss current challenges of Small Business working across the Federal Government. Something I learned at the conference was that in 2012 there were 112,000+ small businesses Federal Government contracts awarded, in 2022 there 62,000 – I think those numbers tell the story for small business. I can’t say how much I appreciate the US Army creating this opportunity allowing them to learn more about Small Business and in return allowing us to learn more about the inside workings of the Army’s Small Business Program – it has already been a tremendous learning experience for both Government and Industry. Looking forward for what’s to come next.
